Final Draft: White Lies

White Lies

Post Production 1

After being able to work with and modify my project with the critiques of my peers I have began adjusting the lettering, fonts, colors, etc. In terms of adjusting the volume I am stuck in the same position I was in a few months ago. I do have the time to reshoot it now and be able to have my actors project more, with one of the actors unavailable to help anymore, I would have to recast her role which might be hard to find another actress. In the meantime, I will try to fix the sound on my own, but if it starts to sound unnatural  I am going to have to completely reshoot, so my decision has to be made quickly.

Peer Review

After showing my classmates my project I was overwhelmed with the unexpected positive feedback. I was compared to John Hughs and praised for my script, concept, angles, etc. As expected however, I was given some critiques. To begin with, the audio was a little weird. If I just raise the actors voices then I should be fine. I also was advised to fix my font and coloring for my titles. Making it a little more blush to match my actors costume and the theme of the movie. Overall, I am happy with the feedback I got and have already began to make edits!

First Draft

White Lies This is my submission for my project as of January 22, 2021

Down to the Wire

With the project being due, I have really had to work on it fast. I currently have no wifi so I have had to work on it in school. I asked a few friends to look it over and they thought it was good. While editing still, I found that there were other things I liked that I wouldn't have necessarily chosen originally. If I do end up having to make edits after my peer reviews I think it will be for the better because it has already helped me so much and I think it would make the project really good to submit to Cambridge.
